Man, it would be a nightmare for me to remember where all of the silly special characters are!

I don’t know if I’d go that route, I use the dvorak keyboard layout so the keys I use don’t match what’s on them - the same effect as a blank keyboard. It’s ok for most of the keyset but even ubergeeks might have trouble remembering the placement of the tilde, the scroll lk, curly brackets, and any hardware mapped keys like the CD Eject function. I can use ctrl& left shift to bail myself out. No safety net on a blank keyboard.
On the other hand tactile click is supposed to be faster…

yeah, I used that with the happy hacker keyboard back in the day… It’s a great security setup. Even though the keymapping is QWERTY, when someone sees the dvorak keys, they can’t even type their name due to utter confusion! It’s great.

Yea, I think I need to see the tilde, etc.
It’s funny, I think the IMB Thinkpad keyboard is the most comfortable keyboard for me. I’ve never found another keyboard that I love using as much.
